We regret to announce that Bob Partridge passed away on the morning of 19th July 2010. Bob was a member of the South Woodham club for over thirty years and held virtually every position within the club over the years (including  secretary and chairman) as well as playing for most seasons in the premier team. Bob was especially active in helping and encouraging youngsters into table tennis and was very much involved in establishing the current strong junior section in the Woodham club.Bob will be much missed throughout the league and especially by everyone at the Woodham club where he continued to contribute right up to the end. Thank you Bob you were a gentleman and a thoroughly good guy we will miss you. The funeral will be at Chelmsford Crematorium, Writtle Road CM1 1BL on Monday 26th July at 3.30pm and afterwards at Danbury Sports & Social Club, rather than flowers the family would like donations to Farleigh Hospice who helped Bob through his illness.

	Individual Registration - This is now a fact, each player has to register individually with the ETTA for the 2010/11 season cost is £5.64 for adult and £2.82 for juniors (born 1993 or later). You will be able to register and pay via your club/league or you can register and pay online at www.etta.co.uk/membership (click link here), Online registration would save considerable time and effort so is our preferred method. When you register online you will be issued with a player number (issued by email almost instantly) which you must use to confirm to your club and league that you have registered. One registration covers you for ALL leagues that you play in you will only need to inform each league of your player number. The player registration year runs from July 10th 2010 to July 2011 to coincide with the ETTA AGM. The ETTA anticipate that all registrations (including paper ones) will be completed by mid November.
	Important - TO PLAY IN ANY LEAGUE OR CUP MATCH A PLAYER MUST HAVE A PLAYER MEMBER NUMBER once the ETTA have confirmed that registrations have all been processed then this rule will be strictly enforced without exception!

	The South Woodham Club will be running coaching sessions for junior players every Thursday from 6.30pm, starting on 15th April 2010. Juniors session runs from 6.30pm to 8pm, adults wishing to practice are welcome from 8pm to 10pm (cost £2) all players are welcome. These sessions continue throughout the summer.
